B-1B Lancer

Description

Along with the B-2 Spirit and B-52 Stratofortress, the B-1B is a mainstay of the USAF strategic nuclear deterrent. In recent years it has been used in counter-insurgency roles, making use of its long endurance to provide persistent close-air-support. With a maximum of 125,000 pounds of payload, the Lancer can unleash an impressive amount of high explosive ordnance.

PRIMAL Assessment

The B-1B is a highly capable CAS platform capable of delivering massive amounts of ordnance on a target. Where possible PRIMAL may employ CIA cover to coordinate B-1B strikes against enemy locations.
