ZERO MMX

Description

One of the first electric motorcycles designed specifically for military applications the Zero MMX is essentially an electric trail bike. It’s silent, stealthy and fast, with a top speed over 85mph (137kmh). Night operations are enabled through use of infrared spotlights only visible through night vision devices.

PRIMAL Assessment

The Zero MMX is a highly effective reconnaissance and infiltration platform. Able to be deployed from a truck, helicopter or parachute, it is a viable means of rapidly moving from an insertion platform to a target. Its low noise signature significantly reduces the likelihood of detection by enemy personnel. A key limitation is the bike’s endurance, which is limited to 60 to 160 minutes dependent on terrain. However, rapid change power packs can be cached or air dropped to extend operations.
