Description

The classic single-shot disposable rocket launcher, the 66mm Light Anti-Armor Weapon has served in the US military since Vietnam. Weighing in at 5.5 lbs, the 66 is a light and simple anti-armor and anti-bunker weapon. In modern warfare its effectiveness against tanks is limited however the 66 still has a place defeating enemy defensive positions and lightly-armored vehicles.

PRIMAL Assessment

Although not the latest technology, the 66 still packs a potent punch in a compact package. For assassinating high-value targets the 66 can be used to destroy armored cars out to 200 meters if the firer is accurate. The M72E8 variant can be fired from inside buildings with minimal backblast. Like the MATADOR, PRIMAL's modified 66 also has a dual-mode warhead for anti-armor and breaching effects. If a more sophisticated weapon is required PRIMAL operatives may use the latest RPG-7 rocket launchers or Mini-Spike guided missiles.
