THE BATTLE OF AGINCOURT

Description:

A major English victory over the French in 1415. It is notable for its use of the English Longbow which devastated the French cavalry at long range.

PRIMAL Assessment:

Popular folklore describes the longbows as so powerful they could pierce the plate armor of the French Knights. This was partially true as weak points in the armor were vulnerable however much of the weapon's effectiveness was against the knight's horses, which were not fully armored.
