Description
The successor to the Vietnam War-era UH-1 ‘Huey’, the Bell 412 is a modern twin-engine utility helicopter. It is a development of the Bell 212 with the major difference being the composite four-blade main rotor. In use by over forty nations in both military and civilian roles, the Bell Huey series is one of the most common utility helicopters.

PRIMAL Assessment
For low-profile PRIMAL missions the common Bell 412 may be more suitable than the distinctive AW609 tilt-rotor – call sign DRAGONFLY. If the 412 was to be added to PRIMAL’s fleet Mitch would almost certainly want to upgrade its engines. The US Marine Corps UH-1Y has almost twice the horsepower than the standard Bell 412.
