DRAGUNOV SNIPER RIFLE

Description:

The Dragunov, also known as the SVD is the most common Soviet Bloc marksman rifle. Not as accurate as some more specialized rifles, it is designed for a squad designated marksman rather than a highly trained sniper.

PRIMAL Assessment:

Although dated, the semi-automatic design still does the job. The  7.62x54mm armor piercing round will defeat all but the latest body armor. In PRIMAL Unleashed the SVD is favored by the villain, Dostiger. Mirza also uses an updated bullpup variant known as the SVU.
