Description:

The improvised explosive device, otherwise known as the IED has become the weapon of choice for insurgents and terrorists worldwide. They include car bombs, suicide vests, building bombs, buried pressure-plate devices, and remotely armed and movement sensor initiated explosively formed projectiles, to name a few.
