KPV

Description

A 14.5mm heavy machine gun, the KPV is a Soviet-era weapon common throughout the world’s conflict zones. Originally designed as an anti-aircraft weapon, it is often found mounted on the back of ‘technical’ pickups to be used as a long range ground support machine gun. Its powerful round has twice the energy than a .50cal machine gun round thus making it an extremely long range and heavy-hitting weapon suitable for engaging buildings and vehicles.

PRIMAL Assessment

The KPV is a formidable weapon to be on the receiving end of. PRIMAL are unlikely to use it as it is not man-portable and is unwieldy in the close fight.
