LE TOURNEAU L-2350

 Description

The largest rubber-tired front end loader in the world, the L-2350 weighs 258 tons, rolls on 12 foot high tires, and can lift 72 tons in its enormous bucket. Designed to load equally massive dump trucks, it is a critical capability for many mining operations.

PRIMAL Assessment

At a cost of less than two million dollars per unit, this earth-mover is a comparative bargain. Larger tracked excavators are available but they are much more expensive, slower to maneuver and use much more fuel. The L-2350 has absolutely no relevance to PRIMAL operations but could make an extremely destructive improvised weapon.
