Description:

Originally designed as a 'Personal Defense Weapon', the HK MP7 has become popular with Special Operations Forces requiring a compact CQB submachine gun. The unique 4.7mm projectile has superior armor-piercing capabilities than a regular pistol round and has tumbling properties designed to prevent over-penetration and increase lethality.

PRIMAL Assessment:

Low recoil, quiet with a suppressor, and deadly, this is an excellent close range weapon. Detractors criticize the tiny 4.7mm projectiles but this weapon has been in operational service for many years now and killed plenty of bad guys - it works. If serious armor-piercing capabilities or an effective range beyond 100m is required a rifle caliber weapon is recommended.
