STRYKER

Description:

An 8-wheeled light armored vehicle with a 105mm cannon in the turret. It is designed to provide fire support to the Stryker Infantry Carrier Vehicle. The cannon is equally good at destroying bunkers as well as armored vehicles.

PRIMAL Assessment:

Although the Stryker MGS packs a big punch for a light vehicle it lacks the heavy armor of a main battle tank. On a modern battlefield the Strykers would struggle to deal with the threat from sophisticated IEDs/mines and anti-tank guided weapons that insurgents in places like Syria, Lebanon, and Libya have access to.
