IMI TAVOR

Description

The Tavor is a bullpup 5.56mm assault rifle and one of the standard-issued weapons of the Israel Defence Force. The Tavor 2, AKA Micro-Tavor AKA MTAR, is an updated and more compact version. It is also available as an integrally-suppressed 9mm submachine gun.

PRIMAL Assessment

Although not officially available chambered in 300BLK, PRIMAL custom builds these weapons. With integral suppressors and firing subsonic ammunition, the Tavor 2 in 300BLK is an extremely compact and heavy-hitting weapon system. A magazine change to supersonic ammunition gives it the capability to engage targets at ranges beyond most submachine guns. The bullpub design trades off the versatility of being able to fire from either shoulder, against the ability to conceal the weapon and maneuver in tight spaces.
